Sarcophagus Stabilization for Transport

The project involved the consolidation and stabilization of the inner and child sarcophagus’ in preparation for transportation during a museum’s renovation and expansion. Unique conservation practices were implemented out of respect for the sacred antiquities.


Flemish School Tapestry

The studio is fully equipped to address the restoration and conservation of all types of textile, from minor repairs to complex re-creations. The photographs show the conservation of “The Salute before the Tournament’ from a set “Tournament of Vice and Virtue” 16th Century, Flemish School. Silk and Wool.


Cumberland Island National Seashore Art Collection

The Cumberland National Park is the home of one of the most pristine American art from the late 1800's. One of the many pieces conserved by ACL was a painting of a traditional farm subject matter, animals inside a barn, and its intricate a 24k gold frame. Both painting and frame were in very poor condition but were fully recovered to its original splendor.
